Dr Erin Pritchard is an international expert on the experiences of people with dwarfism. She is a senior lecturer at Liverpool Hope University where she uses her research to teach students in the School of Social Sciences.

She also uses her research to advocate for equality for people with dwarfism, becoming an outspoken activist. Some of her most successful campaigns include influencing companies to change the name of their Midget Gems to Mini gems. She also worked with Greene King who changed the names of one of their pubs.

She has also worked as a consultant for numerous companies, including Wizard of the Coast and Disney in order to improve representations of dwarfism. She believes that it is important to show more positive representations of dwarfism.

She also advocates for better disability accessibility, including on public transport, working as a member for the Rail Accessibility and Inclusion Forum for the North.
