Nominee Profile

Location: Sheffield
Heather Tingle is an Autistic ADHDer, a naturally messy person with peri-menopausal brain fog that means she sets her kitchen on fire regularly and forgets why she's walked in a room and lives with chronic pain and POTS. She's also a decluttering expert.

She has been a member of The Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO) since 2016 and was a founding Director of Hoarding Disorders UK (North) and was a finalist Professional Organiser of the year 2024.

The founder of Untangled by Tingle, Heather’s expertise in decluttering and hoarding awareness has been featured on BBC Radio Sheffield and she has delivered staff training on Hoarding for the charity MIND and Neurodivergence training for the NSPCC and APDO.

She's spoken on the links between neurodivergence and clutter on stages at APDO, The Clean and Tidy Home Show and The Ideal Home Show and been featured in publications such as Ideal Home, Woman and Home, Readers Digest, Happiful, Metro and Fabulous.

Overcoming trauma and abuse, Heather decluttered her hoarded home and found a new, calmer and more content way to live. She now supports clients in person and online using The PAVES system™ to achieve happier, streamlined lives regardless of their challenges or circumstances. Her declutter planner was an Amazon best seller and her podcast is rated in the top 2.5% globally.

When she isn’t working Heather can be found either sitting on the sofa attempting to drinking tea as a excitable cat hangs off her foot, watching Netflix with her daughter and semi-feral tabby cats, or out walking in the Peak District listening to cheesy 80s pop. She describes herself as a naturally messy person, autistic, and totally unshockable.
