Imali Chislett is a 24-year-old disabled entrepreneur, digital strategist, and fierce advocate for accessibility and inclusion. She is the co-founder of Inkfire, a disabled-led organisation that empowers marginalised communities through accessible tech, inclusive design, and employment support. Having complex chronic conditions including ulcerative colitis, enteropathic arthritis, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Imali has spent much of her life navigating the barriers disabled people face in healthcare, work, and society.
Despite her own health challenges — including sepsis, stoma surgery, and ongoing treatment for arthritis — Imali has built a thriving business that puts disabled voices at the centre. Through her blog Mali and Me, she shares unfiltered experiences of life with chronic illness, educating thousands and building a powerful online community.
