Natasha Trotman

Natasha is an international Equalities Designer and Researcher whose practice explores extending the frontiers of knowledge around mental difference (inclusive of acquired neurodivergence), non-typical bodyminds, ways of being and marginalised experiences. Natasha's mission is to use their differences as strengths and harness them via creative audacity; fuelled by a passion for meaningful change and (post-normative) equity to shift the dial, so we can all have positive futures; she contributes to the mission by creating tangible change using a broad suite of skills in little and big ways.
With an MA in Information Experience Design from the Royal College of Art (RCA), a background in Inclusive Design, Data Systems analysis from The University of Oxford, coupled with expertise in access and inclusion, Natasha has gone on to exhibit widely and created workshops at cultural establishments, including The V&A, The National Gallery and Tate Modern followed by working as a Research Associate at The RCA's Helen Hamlyn Centre and Wellcome Trust (Wellcome Collection Hub) on Research project Design and The Mind.
Natasha is currently a Co-Producer for Local Government and sits on it's Inclusive Design Review Panel, a British Council Arts and Creative Economy Advisory member. Previously a NASA Aeronautics Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Practitioner, and a consultant for Wellcome, as a Co-Designer and Co-Developer for Wellcome's Social Justice Curriculum and a reviewer and panellist for the UKRI and UN panellist. She is a Creative in residence at Somerset House's studio 48. She has been selected as a 10×10 Emerging Artist by the British Council, named on the Shaw Trust Powerlist Top 100 Influential Disabled People 2019 and 2020, and a Genius Within's Stereotype Buster Award 2024 award winner and a Judge for The Shaw Trust 2024 Power 100 list.
