Nominee Profile

Location: London
Victoria Jenkins is an award-winning social entrepreneur, disability advocate, and the visionary founder of Unhidden—an adaptive fashion brand transforming the industry by championing style, dignity, and accessibility for disabled people.

After working for over a decade as a garment technologist in the fashion industry, Victoria’s life changed dramatically when she became disabled in her twenties due to chronic health conditions. Experiencing first-hand the physical and social challenges faced by disabled people, she quickly recognised a glaring gap in the market: clothing that was not only accessible and functional but also fashionable. Her turning point came during a hospital stay when she met another patient who shared how difficult it was to find clothing that worked with her medical needs without feeling clinical or unflattering. That conversation sparked the idea for Unhidden—a brand rooted in empathy, innovation, and inclusion.

Founded in 2020, Unhidden creates stylish, adaptive clothing designed specifically for disabled and chronically ill people. The brand redefines the relationship between fashion and disability, offering garments with features such as discreet openings for feeding tubes and ports, magnetic fastenings, adjustable waistlines, and designs that accommodate seated wear and mobility aids—all while maintaining a fashion-forward aesthetic. Every piece reflects Victoria’s deep understanding of inclusive design and her belief that everyone deserves to dress with confidence and pride.

In a landmark moment for accessible fashion, Victoria partnered with Primark in 2025 to launch their first-ever adaptive clothing line—bringing inclusive design to the high street across 10 countries. This global first marks a powerful shift in retail accessibility and ensures disabled consumers are no longer an afterthought, but a valued part of the mainstream fashion conversation.

Victoria’s influence has been widely recognised. In 2023, she was named one of Vogue’s 25 Most Powerful Women, a prestigious accolade celebrating women shaping Britain’s cultural, political, and creative landscape. She has also been honoured in the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100, which recognises the UK’s most influential disabled people for driving change and challenging perceptions.

Beyond her entrepreneurial work, Victoria plays a vital role in shaping national policy and industry standards. She serves as Co-Chair of the Lilac Review, a UK government-backed review dedicated to increasing representation, support, and success for disabled entrepreneurs. In this role, she is helping pave the way for systemic change, ensuring that disabled business owners have equal access to opportunity, funding, and recognition.

A powerful speaker and advocate, Victoria regularly appears in the media, on panels, and at major events to speak about disability, inclusion, fashion, and entrepreneurship. Her work has been featured by BBC News, The Guardian, Forbes, and Grazia, and she continues to use her platform to elevate disabled voices and challenge outdated norms.

Through Unhidden and her wider advocacy, Victoria Jenkins is leading a much-needed revolution in both fashion and business. She is not just designing clothes—she’s redesigning the world to be more inclusive, one stitch at a time.
