Weininger Irwin is the ITV UK 1st Gladiator Champion and a Community Exercise Lead championing diversity & inclusion.
He is known for his work with Ageless Teenagers (a community group of seniors/OAP's) and Cool Rowings (an initiative to bring inclusion and diversity to the fantastic sport of rowing). He is driven by his love for the seniors and they see this passion and commitment. He goes above and beyond to tackle loneliness and isolation within the senior population and work delivered during the covid pandemic of door to door visits addressed this. Such is his drive passion and determination in delivering is realised in a notable achievement in his completing a gruelling 24hr Red Nose Comic Relief SOLO indoor row at a Romford shopping centre in 2022 to raise awareness for Prostrate Cancer, Youth Violence and raise over £4000 for the charity .
His journey in creating inclusion & diversity should also be noted as his Cool Rowings initiative is bringing entire communities together in inclusivity that has not been seen before. His simple practical community approach is certainly raising eyebrows and his ambitions to create the first ever primary schools indoor regatta is certainly one to be looked out for. The remarkable feat of taking Ageless Teenagers to the British Indoor Rowing Championships where many not experiencing competition of this magnitude (competing against Olympic and World Champions) and returning with four bronze, two silver and four gold medals (and a British record in the 85 - 89 category) is to be heralded as well as acknowledged.
He is a grounded, down to earth individual: a caring, family man with a genuine desire to do whatever he can to make a difference to all through what he knows best: community and exercise!
