Nominee Profile

Location: London
Aysha Bosher is the founder of Rosebuds Sisters, a women-led initiative she established in 2011 to create safe, inclusive spaces for Muslim women. What began as a small local circle has grown into a global sisterhood, now supporting over 10,000 women across 70+ chapters in the UK and internationally through faith-inspired leadership, wellbeing programmes, and community connection.

Together with a dedicated network of over 70 leaders and 1,000+ volunteers, this 100% volunteer-led movement delivers over 6,000 sessions annually - from weekly wellbeing activities to monthly workshops, interfaith gatherings, and community initiatives. Reaching tens of thousands of attendances each year, the work of Rosebuds Sisters continues to reduce isolation, strengthen belonging, and build meaningful connections between women of diverse cultures and backgrounds.

At the heart of this impact is a shared commitment to uplifting others. Through mentoring and grassroots leadership, Aysha has supported women to become leaders within their own communities, creating a ripple effect of sustainable change.

As a British-Bangladeshi Muslim woman, Aysha balances her work alongside being a mother and a full-time professional. Her journey reflects resilience, service, and a deep commitment to community.

Her contributions have been recognised with the Community Spirit Award (2025) at the Muslim Women Awards and a Highly Commended recognition as Community Champion at the She Awards (2026).
By voting for Aysha, you are supporting a collective movement - recognising every volunteer, leader, and woman who contributes to Rosebuds Sisters and the communities it serves.
