Nominee Profile

Location: Battersea
I’m an Operations Manager who genuinely loves creating experiences where people feel welcome, included, & able to be themselves. My journey into accessibility started at Westfield London in 2020 as a Guest Services Team Manager, where I became the Accessibility Champion. At the time, I honestly knew very little about accessibility, but I knew I’d found something incredibly important, an opportunity that could genuinely make a difference for others but also myself in terms of learning. That moment completely shaped the direction of my career and gave me a real passion and purpose in the work I do.
When I joined Battersea Power Station shortly after opening in 2023, I had the opportunity to help shape & develop the guest services team through my positive leadership. Today we’re known as The Experience Team, which perfectly reflects what we’re all about, creating memorable, welcoming, and inclusive experiences for everyone who visits the estate. One of the things I’m most proud of has been helping build accessibility across the Battersea Power Station estate from the ground up, making sure inclusion became part of the culture & not just a box-ticking exercise. Driving significant change has been a career highlight.
Working with Ethos Farm Ltd, service provider, has allowed me to take that passion even further. My role has grown into becoming the Accessibility Lead for the company, where I now support accessibility and inclusion across a number of client sites including Heathrow Airport, the Luton DART, and more. I especially love getting involved in project work around awareness days, trainings, planned events, & fundraising initiatives. Creating opportunities to celebrate diversity, raise awareness, & bring people together in meaningful ways that changes mindsets. Whether it’s developing new ideas, collaborating with teams, or finding creative ways to make accessibility more visible, I love being hands-on and making things happen. Disability is an everyone challenge!
