Jonathan is an award-winning LGBTQ+ singer, songwriter, composer, comedian and Media Executive in his 50’s. His career has been diverse and multi-faceted. He hosts variety entertainment nights across the U.K. giving LGBTQ+ artists, musicians and comedians new platforms to be seen on.
His singing career began as a Choral Scholar in the King's College Choir. As a Bass Baritone in various choirs, he has sung all over the world at venues such as Sydney Opera House, Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and The Royal Albert Hall. He’s sung backing vocals with London Contemporary Voices for artists such as Sam Smith and Basement Jaxx, and recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
Jonathan has been a member of The Fourth Choir, London's leading LGBTQ+ Classical Chamber Choir. He composed his first choral piece, a setting of Walt Whitman's famous poem, "O Captain! My Captain!" which was premiered in London's Southbank Centre by LCV Choir and has since been performed around the world including in America and on Vancouver Island in Canada.
A few years ago he started stand-up comedy and combined it with music by writing and performing original comedy songs. He appeared on "Britain's Got Talent" last year and his audition was viewed over 1 million times on social media. Since then, he’s been performing at Pride events such as Cymru and Perthshire Pride, at queer venues around the UK and also regularly performs at queer based comedy nights. He often performs his own songs and in 2026, his new track reached No. 2 in the LGBTQ+ Music Chart of Europe.
Jonathan believes it's never too late to do what you're passionate about, what makes you happy and then in turn, hopefully brings joy to others too.
