Nominee Profile

Location: London
Mark Freed is the Managing Director and co-founder of Men for Inclusion, a consultancy dedicated to engaging men and senior leaders as active advocates for equality, diversity and inclusion. With more than 25 years’ experience driving cultural change across corporate environments, Mark is widely recognised for his pioneering work in advancing gender equity and inclusive leadership.

Before founding Men for Inclusion, Mark established E2W, one of the UK’s leading networks supporting women in financial services, which grew to a community of more than 15,000 members. Through this work, he developed a deep understanding of the structural barriers facing underrepresented groups and the importance of leadership accountability in creating lasting change.

Today, Mark works with organisations across financial services, energy, insurance and professional services, helping leaders embed inclusive behaviours, challenge bias and create psychologically safer workplace cultures. Over the past year alone, he has delivered programmes to more than 1,000 senior leaders at organisations including Lloyds Bank, EDF Energy, Scottish Power and National Grid.

Alongside his commercial work, Mark dedicates significant time to supporting non-profit and industry organisations on a pro bono basis, including Powerful Women, Women in New Energy, WENA and The Diversity Project. He is also a respected keynote speaker and thought leader, contributing to national conversations on inclusion through conferences, research initiatives and public policy engagement, including giving evidence to the Treasury Select Committee inquiry into “Sexism in the City”.

Drawing on his own lived experience of leaving school without qualifications due to dyslexia, Mark brings authenticity, empathy and practical insight to his work. His career has been defined by a commitment to creating inclusive cultures where everyone can thrive.
