Nia Tyler is a soulful singer and Y Llais (The Voice) 2025 semi-finalist from, Carmarthenshire.
While her passion for performance never wavered, Nia chose to pursue a degree in Psychology. During her third year, her life changed when she suffered a stroke—an experience that transformed her into a dedicated advocate for stroke survivors and those living with acquired brain injuries.
Nia Tyler has recently co-founded and leads a “stroke choir,” a project that beautifully bridges her expertise in music and psychology. She is also in the process of co-organising a ball celebrating young stroke survivors.
Nia uses her social media platform to raise awareness of young stroke survivors and hidden disability. She is determined to turn her tragedy into a passion project and make positive change.
