Tyler - Augustin Morenkeji
Nominee Profile
Location: Liverpool
I’m a Liverpool and Manchester based community organiser, host, and creative, and the founder of The Cracked Mirror Collective. As a POC and neurodivergent person, my work is rooted in building accessible, community led spaces for queer and trans people with a focus on improving quality of life through advocacy, mutual aid, and collaboration.
Through both my independent work and the collective, I’ve organised events such as Merseyside TDOV, supported access to gender affirming resources and worked alongside queer grassroots organisations across the North West. I’m also currently supporting the development of QUAC Collective in Manchester and am particularly committed to amplifying voices that are often overlooked within the community, including POC and disabled trans people.
Alongside my community work, I’m an emerging performer and host, using humour, storytelling, and lived experience to create spaces that feel both honest and inclusive. I’ve also been featured on the Proudly Said Podcast, where I’ve spoken about my work and personal experiences living as a trans man.
I also work in the events and hospitality sector, working at major festivals, racecourses, and high-profile venues, reinforcing that as a trans person of colour, success and leadership are absolutely achievable.
