Composite Games is a tabletop game designer and retailer who specialise in tabletop roleplaying games and wargaming.
The company was created in 2013 as a host for its roleplaying games it was designing and later retailing 3rd party games such as Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer.
In 2021 they opened their first shop in Doncaster and started to create a community.
This led to the realisation that a lot of the children and adults who were joining in the hobby were neurodivergent and we looked into research on how the games we sell could benefit people on the spectrum.
This led to a partnership with Stride Doncaster and us helping support the development of their clients through regular D&D sessions.
This has been a resounding success and we have seen an increase in people taking part in these sessions.
We are currently working with Game Therapy Uk to develop our research further into Wargaming in order to improve the catchment of this program and to help increase the size of the neurodivergent gaming community in Doncaster
