Hadley Stewart is an award-nominated journalist, whose work has been published by NBC News, Reuters, Euronews, Attitude, PinkNews, Gay Star News, Out News Global, FS magazine, The Queerness, among other publications. As Features Editor at Vada Magazine, he has interviewed leading and emerging voices from the LGBTQ+ community, as well as producing “instantly iconic” digital covers and championing diversity and inclusion in the workplace through his Out at Work careers features. Hadley garnered a reputation for LGBTQ+ storytelling through his reporting on the government-led anti-LGBTQ+ crackdown in Egypt, the impact of the Venezuelan economic crisis on the country’s LGBTQ+ community, and human rights activism in the Middle East. His work in schools sees him giving talks to students and teachers about his experiences of homophobic bullying, alongside contributing to several education books. Additionally, he sits on the board of directors of the United Front Against Riverblindness, an international NGO based in the United States that works to control and eliminate neglected tropical diseases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Hadley was named an ‘LGBT Future Leader’ by LGBT HERO and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).
