Mthwakazi Queen's vision is to help women build self-worth, build resilience, and create economic and social stability through hosting business workshops, training them to be able to engage in projects that enable them to provide for themselves. This superb organisation supports women and children from BAME families that are faced with various challenges in society. Mthwakazi Queens hold workshops and raise awareness about mental health, domestic violence, gender issues, education, training and employment. There is also the challenge of a cultural gap in communities, and as an ethnic organisation, Mthwakazi Queens aims to bridge this gap by providing a platform for parents and children to tackle these issues together. Discussions have been fruitful whereby they encourage young people and adults to have open dialogue in what each party finds challenging about life in a culturally different environment.
