Ioannis is a vocal trans ally and an expert in gender affirming top surgery. With a dual passion for ethics and healthcare, Ioannis completed his MBA studies, with a thesis on improving trans surgery and top surgery provision in the UK. Since becoming a specialist in this discipline, Ioannis has performed more than 700 cases. He has also developed educational material for the NHS and delivered the UK’s first Masterclass in top surgery for medical professionals. He was invited to contribute a chapter on Top Surgery to the latest edition of a leading breast surgery textbook and this will be the first time this specialism will be included. Mr Ntanos has been accredited by WPATH for his work and is continuously expanding his knowledge by participating in national and international conferences.
